PTDI and Paguyuban Pasundan Implement the "DI Goes to School" and "DI Edutainment" Programs
Bandung (18/09) – PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) (PTDI) is expanding its contribution to developing aerospace awareness among the younger generation through collaboration with the Basic and Secondary Education Division (Dikdasmen) of Paguyuban Pasundan. This collaboration was realized through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on the implementation of the "DI Goes to School" and "DI Edutainment" aerospace education programs within schools managed by the Pasundan Basic and Secondary Education Foundation, covering aerospace learning sessions, student visits to PTDI facilities, and internship programs for students.
The PKS was signed by PTDI Corporate Secretary, Rommy Indah Jayanti, and the Head of the Dikdasmen Division of the Paguyuban Pasundan Central Board, who is also Chairman of the Pasundan Basic and Secondary Education Foundation, Dadang Mulyana, witnessed directly by PTDI President Director, Gita Amperiawan, and Chairman of the Paguyuban Pasundan Central Board, Didi Turmudzi, today (18/09) at the Paguyuban Pasundan Central Board Office, Bandung. This PKS is a follow-up to the Memorandum of Understanding between PTDI and Paguyuban Pasundan, which was signed during PTDI's Golden Anniversary celebration on August 29, 2026.
As a form of PTDI's commitment to carrying out its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program in the education pillar, particularly in supporting the improvement of human resource quality and the development of innovation and technology, PTDI, together with Paguyuban Pasundan, will implement the "DI Goes to School and DI Edutainment" program for Pasundan elementary, junior high, senior high, and vocational high school students. This program covers face-to-face activities between PTDI representatives and students at schools, student visits to PTDI facilities, and student internship programs at PTDI.
"Alhamdulillah, with this cooperation, students in the Pasundan region can be given the opportunity to gain new knowledge from aerospace experts and specialists, which has already begun for students of SMK Pasundan 2 and SMA Pasundan 2. This certainly elevates the standing of Pasundan, and hopefully in the future it can also be expanded to higher education institutions by making use of PTDI's Training Center facilities, so that students not only earn diplomas but also gain specific skills and greater readiness after graduating from university," said Didi Turmudzi in his remarks.
This program is part of PTDI's efforts to support the development of excellent human resources in the aerospace field, particularly among the younger generation of West Java. Through direct interaction with PTDI practitioners, visits to industrial facilities, and opportunities to take part in internship programs, PTDI seeks to provide relevant learning experiences and introduce students to the world of the aviation industry and technology. "Essentially, we always strive to bring PTDI's added value to the community, in this case the people of West Java. There is still a great deal of potential to explore together going forward to create a multiplier effect in the Pasundan region. We also hope that PTDI's presence can be felt by the people of West Java, starting from introducing the practical side of the aerospace industry, cultivating interest, to leveraging the capabilities of Pasundan's human resources from as early as their school years," explained Gita Amperiawan.
